Who runs empower-x.io, what personal data the site processes, how you may reuse its content, and who funds it.
Privacy policy
This policy covers the website empower-x.io. The EMPOWER-X portal and taking part in the data space are covered by the Participation Agreement and the Rulebook, where R5.4 sets the rules for personal data.

What we process and why

The form on Contact us only opens your email app with the message filled in. Nothing is sent from the page itself.
Who receives it
- Zertifier does not sell, rent or trade personal data.
- Only processors bound by a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR, such as hosting providers, can access it.
- Where data leaves the European Economic Area, for example to Google when fonts or videos load, the transfer relies on a European Commission adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

Purpose. This website presents the EMPOWER-X energy data space and publishes its Rulebook. Zertifier operates EMPOWER-X as its Governance Authority during the pilot phase. Using the site means accepting this notice as published when you visit.
Use of the site. Use it lawfully and in good faith. Do not attempt to breach its security, spread malware or run load tests against it. Software and AI agents are welcome to read the pages and fetch the machine-readable files.
The Rulebook. The Rulebook pages are its binding text. Other pages explain parts of it in plain language.
Liability. Zertifier works to keep the site accurate and available. As far as the law allows, it is not liable for interruptions caused by third-party networks or maintenance, for harm from unauthorised interference, or for the content of external sites linked from here.
Law and courts. Spanish law applies. Disputes go to the courts of Girona, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rules.

Rulebook and machine-readable files
CC BY 4.0The Rulebook pages and every file on Downloads, including machine-readable.json and llms.txt, may be copied, shared and adapted for any purpose, including commercially, as long as you credit the source, link to the licence and say if you made changes.
